First - The training courses and events that were held in 2022 in the field of international humanitarian law are as follows:
- An introduction course to international humanitarian law in the city of Riyadh on (8/19/1443 AH) corresponding to (3/22/2022 AD), lasted for three days and the number of participants was “80”.
- The International Humanitarian Law Day event, “May 9,” took place at the headquarters of the Permanent Committee for International Humanitarian Law on (9/10/1443 AH) corresponding to (10/5/2022 AD) for one day, and the number of participants was “80”.
- The first training program entitled “Protecting Children During Armed Conflicts” was held at the headquarters of the Armed Forces Officers Club in Riyadh on (10/22/1443 AH) corresponding to (5/23/2022 AD) for three days. The number of participants was “53”, and the beneficiary party was represented by “Child Protection Unit led by the Joint Forces”.
- An introduction to international humanitarian law course was held in Riyadh on (10/28/1443 AH), corresponding to (5/29/2022 AD), for three days, with the presence of “88” participants.
- An introduction course to international humanitarian law was held in Riyadh on (9-11/8/2022 AD) for three days, and the number of participants was “88” participants.
- The second training program entitled “Protecting Children During Armed Conflicts” was held at the headquarters of the Armed Forces Officers Club in Riyadh on (1/16/1444 AH) corresponding to (8/14/2022 AD) for three days with the presence of “92” participants, and the beneficiary party was “Child Protection Unit led by the Joint Forces”.
- Basic Concepts of International Humanitarian Law course in Riyadh on (2/15/1444 AH) corresponding to (11/9/2022 AD) for four days. The number of participants was “80” participants.
- The Basic Concepts of International Humanitarian Law course was held in Al-Khobar on (2/22/1444 AH) corresponding to (9/18/2022 AD) for four days. The number of participants was “80” participants.
- An introduction course to international humanitarian law in Dhahran on (23-25/2/1444 AH) corresponding to (19-21/9/2022 AD) for three days, and the number of participants was “800”.
- The Basic Concepts of International Humanitarian Law course was held in Jeddah on (2/29/1444 AH), corresponding to (9/25/2022 AD), and its duration was four days. The number of participants was “80” participants.
- The Basic Concepts of International Humanitarian Law course was held in Riyadh on (3/14/1444 AH) corresponding to (10/10/2022 AD) for four days, with the presence of “128” participants.
- The third training program entitled “Protecting Children During Armed Conflicts” was held at the headquarters of the Armed Forces Officers Club in Riyadh on (5/3/1444 AH) corresponding to (11/27/2022 AD) for three days with the participation of “116” people. The program was presented to the Child Protection Unit led by Joint forces.
- The Basic Rules of International Humanitarian Law course was held at the headquarters of the Islamic Military Coalition to Combat Terrorism in Riyadh on (5/25/1444 AH) corresponding to (12/19/2022 AD). It lasted three years and was attended by “115” participants.
