Standing Committee and Saudi Red Crescent Ink MOU Deal

The Standing Committee of International Humanitarian Law aims to strengthen its ties with pertinent authorities, as part of its societal mandate and diverse initiatives to raise awareness of its work both domestically and globally, emphasizing its extensive activities since its inception.
The Standing Committee of International Humanitarian Law has recently entered into a memorandum of understanding with the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, focusing on boosting collaboration and synergy between the two entities in international humanitarian law and its diverse facets.
Dr. Jalal bin Muhammad Al-Owaisi, Chairman of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, and Chairman of the Standing Committee on International Humanitarian Law, expressed that the recently signed memorandum of understanding focuses on promoting the dissemination and widespread implementation of international humanitarian law with relevant authorities and organizations. Additionally, it involves sharing best practices to serve the public interest in this crucial matter.
Dr. Al-Owaisi highlighted the shared values of cooperation, collaboration, and mutual assistance between the Standing Committee and the Saudi Red Crescent during both peacetime and conflict. Emphasizing that each entity complements the other, they collaborate seamlessly to mitigate the impact of wars and promote international security and peace. This collaboration encourages the avoidance of conflicts and disputes between nations, promoting peaceful resolutions and the widespread adoption of a culture of peace.
