The Chairman of the Standing Committee on International Humanitarian Law, Dr. Jalal bin Mohammed Al-Owaisi, and the President of the Saudi Electronic University, Dr. Mohammed bin Yahya Al-Zahrani, signed a memorandum of understanding at the headquarter of the Saudi Electronic University in Riyadh on Tuesday, December 31, to promote and spread the culture of international humanitarian law.
This memorandum aims to support the integration of efforts and cooperation between the two parties and focuses on spreading the culture of international humanitarian law, exchanging expertise, and benefiting from the specialized cadres in the field of international humanitarian law among them, and establishing research, academic and advisory cooperation between the two parties, which contributes to developing skills in areas of common interest.
This memorandum comes within the framework of efforts to support the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and achieve national strategic goals and coincides with the Committee's goals in creating partnerships that achieve the Committee's goals. This cooperation is an important step towards enhancing joint work and exchanging experiences, which contributes to spreading the culture of international humanitarian law, and reflects their commitment to implementing it, and building societies based on peace and stability.
