Law Diploma Students from the Command and Staff College Visit the Standing Committee of International Law

The Standing Committee of International Humanitarian Law hosted a visit from a delegation of pursuing a diploma in international humanitarian law at the Command and College in Riyadh. The delegation was warmly welcomed by the officials of the Standing Committee, who conducted a guided tour of the Committee's headquarters to provide insights into its diverse activities related to international humanitarian law and its contributions to society in this domain. Moreover, the delegation was briefed on the Committee's local, regional, and international roles.
During the visit, the delegation received a detailed overview of the committee's objectives, mission, seminars, and meetings. The delegation also gained insights into the positive reception of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's initiatives in promoting international humanitarian law. Moreover, they were briefed on the Standing Committee's focus on advancing international security, peace, and the promotion of international humanitarian law through active collaboration with counterparts worldwide. This includes fostering effective cooperation, coordinating efforts, and engaging in discussions with various United Nations entities.
Conversely, the visiting delegation expressed gratitude and admiration towards the Standing Committee on International Humanitarian Law and its leadership for their commendable societal contributions and dedicated efforts in raising awareness about international humanitarian law, advocating for a culture of peace, and advocating for conflict prevention.
